Okay folks, Saturday isn't just a motocross now, it's the big one! The top 3 countries of off road racing will not be final until this afternoon with the last motocross. They will run the Trophy & Jrs teams in order of finish times, starting with E-3 B, then E-3 A which will include Nathan Kanney and David K. (oh yeah and Marko Tarkkala); then E-2 B, followed by E-2 A which will have Destry A., Jimmy J., and Nathan Woods (and Juha Salminen); Then E-1 B, and finally the E-1 A with Ricky D.

Kurt C. and his team met last night and got their strategy down. It will be tight. The start is a Leman's start where the fastest guy gets the pole position with 3 other fast guys on his line. So in Nathan Woods' race, he is in 32nd position - that's in row 8 on the outside! Really sucks for him! But we are confident that he can hold his own with 31 other riders in 7 laps. But Juha has the pole position.

Ricky D. is on line 1 of his moto, so he should be in great shape. He will be bringing home the bacon so to speak...It could very well be down to the final second! Whatever time difference between the Finnish and the Americans will be settled in Ricky's moto.

I just can't believe that after 5 long, hard days of racing that there is less than a 3 second difference in time between the Finnish & USA!

GO USA!!

Thanks for all you support for the team - it means a lot to them to know that you are there for them!

Best regards,

Kamo's Mom (pacing the floor in Greece!)

PS David will also be in the E-3 A moto with Nate Kanney.

For David, the 2008 ISDE is over. He is packing up and getting ready to head out. The E-3 moto is finished and he did a great job dicing it out with the other trophy and jr. trophy riders. His moto was the A moto (top 32 E-3 riders). He finished 17th in the moto (from way back in the pack). David is 18th overall in his class and Nate Kanney, USA Trophy rider, finished 8th overall, and both receive GOLD medals for their efforts. Marko Tarkkala, Finland, won the overall for E-3.

DAY SIX

Today was the final day motocross. I got my bike out of impound and had 15 mins to work on it before I started my race. My race was at 1pm. I got 1 parade lap. The start was a staggered start like the indy cars, and it was on a long straight away on pavement onto the motocross track for 8 laps. I started on the 4th or 5th line. I ran mid pack through the whole race. I had a lot of fun and did 2 heel-clickers. Haha… After the race was over I impounded my bike and got things put back away in my crate.

In the E-3 class I finished like 18t and like 58th overall. I got a gold and had a great six days!
